Co-Curricular Activities
“If I hear, I forget , If I see , I remember , If I do, I never forget it”
Truly said, an activity-oriented approach is central to any learning and teaching in our school.
In order to acquire a sound basis for good conduct and action, principles of co-operation, mutual trust and honesty should be inculcated in students through activities, Angelites learn to be self reliant and yet be an essential part of a community. He/she learns to give and take, to participate, not only to win but for the pleasure and satisfaction of participating. School gives functional instruction in sculpture, clay modeling, creative art, fancy dress shows, puppet shoes, dance, music, orchestra and conducts children theatre workshops.
Cultural Programmes
Organisation of cultural programmes in school and participation in cultural competitions is a regular feature of the school. On the prestigious occasions of our country like Independence Day, Republic Day and Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi Birthday, school arranges a wide range of cultural programmes. On our other festival like Dussehra, Diwali, Id, Guru Nanak’s Birthday and Christmas Day, school actively arranges cultural activities to inculcate the best of Indian culture and tradition among its pupils equally and collectively.
Health Programmes , Games and sports
Recognizing the adage that a “HEALTHY MIND LIVES IN A HEALTHY BODY”, increasing attention is paid to the physical development of the students. A healthy competitive environment is created in the school. Regular physical exercise is conducted as part of the school curriculum. School is regularly having its Annual sports Day to inspire its student towards good health and sport. School has staged a volley ball, basketball courts and skating ground for the students. There can not be a batter place than a playground for our children preparing to enter the fray and combat for life. The moral and ethical standards need to be inculcated at this founding era: school life. School is planning to introduce some of the modern alternatives like Aerobics, Karate, Judo etc. To Keep fit, Doctor’s visit to the school will be regular feature of the school.
THEATRE
To grasp the complete significance of life is the actor’s duty, to interpret it is his problem, and to express it is his dedication and to make such inspiring actors is the duty of st. Angel’s. It gives students a platform to express and explore their abilities by their fascinating acts. Thus, making them more revealing and captivating.
School band
“A great band is more than just some people working together. It’s like a highly specialized army unit, or a winning sports team.”
St. Angel’s school also provides this opportunity to students to try their musical feats under the guidance of talented teachers. The school band echoes the cultural ethos. The students are trained to play drums, bagpipers, flutes, bass drums, side drums, trumpet and trampoline. The finesse with which they play is the ample proof of their prowess. Our school band is also a part of various zonals and inter school competitions which are held regularly to give opportunity to children to enhance their potential.
Yoga and sports
St. Angel’s has always promoted the fact that yoga and sports is the key not only to physical health but to peace of mind. It organises regular yoga sessions to connect the inner soul with the almighty and gives a sense of contentment. sports enhances one’s mental and physical health.
Orientation Programme
The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into people’s awareness.
Orientation programmes organized by St. Angel’s School serves the purpose of making parents aware about various dimensions of a student’s psyche. It assists both student as well as parents to establish a mutual rapport between themselves which boosts the performance of students. Talks given by great intellectuals act as a source of light for the illumination of the path of life that lies before them.
Nagar Keertan
“Spirituality does not come from religion, it comes from our soul”
St. Angel’s organises Nagar Keertan every year in which the Angelites amaze the onlookers through their melodious hymns that create a serene and magnificent aura.
Sewa
“Empathy is Seeing with the eyes of another Listening with the ears of anotherFeeling with the heart of another.”
St. Angel’s inculcates the values of empathy, gratitude and benevolence in its students by the concept of SEWA project introduced by CBSE. IT helps Angelians to experience and analyse the ethnic situations of the society and promote compassion and assistance.
Health and Physical Activities
Fitness is not a destination; it’s a way of life.
Physical activities should be the essential part of our life in order to be fit, healthy and young. Being healthy means not only away from diseases but it also means the complete feeling of physical, mental and social well being. Maintaining health and fitness is not a simple task, however not so tough too. Daily physical activities keep students so active and put them on a path of better physical and mental health.
Our school also organizes health and physical activities for mental and physical fitness of the students. Students participate in the activities very enthusiastically. Teachers also accompany the students. This includes various asanas, meditations and with interesting and fascinating games including cricket, basketball, badminton, etc. It enables the students to maintain their fitness, develop their muscular strength, increase their stamina and thus stretch their physical activities to an optimum level.
SCHOOL OLYMPIAD
The science Olympiad foundation (SOF) is an educational foundation and a non profit organisation , established in New Delhi , India which promotes science , mathematics , general knowledge, introductory computer education and English language skills among school children in India through various Olympiad.
St. Angels ’s encourages its students to participate in the prestigious Olympiad Exams and to take exciting intellectual challenges . The teachers prepare their students to face the Olympiad exams that provides them stimulus to begin a career .

RESULT AT GLIMPSE
Shivansh Jha and Moksh Roy of class 3rd and Ronit kumar of class 11th had participated in SOF INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH OLYMPID and were proud to secure gold medal for the school . They were also qualified for level – 2 exam .
Divya Gupta of class 7th had received gold medal at zonal level for G.K. Olpmpiad and a certificate of excellence along with a reward of rupees 5000.
